Which networks are compatible with the
Business Everywhere
software?
The
Business Everywhere
software can be used to connect to Orange HSDPA/
3G/EDGE/GPRS, in Slovakia and wherever Orange has data roaming partnerships.
You can also use the software to connect to Dial-up (PSTN).
What is text messaging?
Text Messaging enables you to send and receive messages of up to 160 characters
to another mobile subscriber. Click on the text messaging button to access this service.
What is a PIN?
A PIN (Personal Identifi cation Number) is a code of between 4 and 8 digits which
protects your SIM card against unauthorized use. A factory set PIN is normally
supplied with your SIM card – it is advisable to change the Pin before using it.
The PIN code can be activated or disabled. The SIM generally comes with a PIN
preset to 0000. If you did not receive it and you believe you should have a PIN,
then please contact Customer Services. You can then change your PIN code.
What is a PUK code and why would I need it?
A PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) code is required to change a blocked PIN code.
(This happens if the wrong PIN is entered 3 times). If your

card requests the PUK code, contact Customer Services who will be able to assist.
How do I fi nd out the phone number (MSISDN) of my SIM?
The simplest way of determining the phone number of your SIM in your
Business Everywhere
is to send a text message from your laptop to your mobile
phone. It should also be in the envelope your SIM card arrived in.
What is a VPN?
A VPN (virtual private network) is a technology that offers you secure access to
your VPN network from any internet access point. To use VPN you need to install
software on your computer. This software requires a user name and a password.
