Changing proxy settings
You have the option to enter proxy settings if required.
1 Select your proxy type:
■
LAN indicates that a Windows proxy is to be used.
■
None indicates that no proxy is used for the connection.
■
Other in the proxy type indicates the specifi ed address and port settings
that are used whilst connecting. The Windows proxy settings are restored
after disconnection.
2 Click OK to go back to the main dashboard.
You can set up HSDPA/3G/EDGE/GPRS data services by selecting the appropriate
connection type from the HSDPA/3G/EDGE/GPRS menu in Advanced settings.
By default Internet connection appears in the HSDPA/3G/EDGE/GPRS access
menu. If the connection you require is not shown in the menu, you can add it by using
Add/Remove a connection in the Advanced settings menu.

If you do not wish to use the default APN, select Override APN and enter the
alternative APN provided to you by Orange.
To go back to the original settings click Restore default values.
You can allow automatic reconnection attempts by checking the Allow automatic
reconnection attempt if connection drops box.
You have the option to enter proxy settings if required, see

on page 27.
If the network requires you connect to the
Business Everywhere
application to use
specifi ed Domain Name Server (DNS) or Windows Internet Naming Service (WINS)
settings, these can be entered in the available fi elds.
Use this to add or remove a connection to the list of connections which appear
