Troubleshooting
Utility starts. If the workstation boots into the operating system without
starting the utility, restart the workstation and try again.

On the
Advanced
tab, use the arrow keys to select
Special Configuration
, and
press Enter.
3.
Select
Factory Recovery
and press Enter.
4.
Select
Enabled
and press Enter.
5.
Press F10, select
Yes
, and press Enter to save configuration changes and exit the
configuration utility.
6.
After the Workstation 6 reboots, on the Choose an option screen, click
Troubleshoot
.
7.
On the Troubleshoot screen, click
Reset your PC
and then click
Next
.
8.
Click
Fully clean the drive
and then click
Reset
to finish restoring factory
settings.
9.
When the Workstation 6 completes restoration and reboots, you can begin
operating system setup.
Recovery Button
You can use the system recovery button on the Workstation 6 to restore system settings
without using a keyboard:
1.
Power off the Workstation 6. Do not disconnect the power cable.
2.
Press the recovery button using any object less than 2mm in diameter. You can
access the button on the Workstation 6 using an opening on the adjustable stand
mount near the DC power cable. Make sure you are not using the opening for the
security screw.
3.
Power on the Workstation 6. It briefly powers on, restarts, and then shows the
Please Wait message below the splash screen.
4.
On the Choose an Option screen, click
Troubleshoot
.
5.
On the Troubleshoot screen, click
Reset your PC
, and then click
Next
.
6.
Click
Fully clean the drive
, and then click
Reset
to finish restoring factory
settings.
7.
When the Workstation 6 completes restoration and reboots, you can begin
operating system setup.
