Creating a Database Backup Policy
Use the Web Console to create a policy to backup a database to an internal or
external Oracle Fast Recovery Area (FRA) location or to the Object Store.
The backup policy defines the backup, including the location where you want to store
the backups and the recovery window. Backup to disk requires a lot of disk space (up
to two to three times the size of the database).
Follow these steps to create a backup policy from the Web Console:
1.
Click the Database tab in the Web Console.
2.
Click Backup Policy in the left navigation to display a list of backup policies.
3.
Click Create Backup Policy.
