3-7 Focusing

1. When camera is not used
Push the light path selector rod (as shown in
Fig. 7) in completely and observe with binocular
eyes. Use 10 × In order to prevent the specimen
from colliding with the objective, the electric
stage should be raised first to make the specimen
close to the objective, and then the focusing hand
wheel should be rotated slowly and reversely to
make the specimen descend, and at 10 × Search
the image in the eyepiece, and then press the
speed control button to switch to the low rate
focusing gear for fine adjustment. At this time, the
lens can be converted to other magnification
objective to achieve focusing without damaging
the specimen.
2. When camera is needed
Push the light path switch selector rod (as shown
in Fig.7) to the end for binocular observation.
After the image is clear, pull it out again for
observation through the camera system.
The hand wheel buttons on both sides work
independently, and different focusing speeds
can be set respectively. The speed gear is
displayed on the touch LCD screen.
3.Focus upper limit
In actual use, if you want to limit and lock the
stage height, that is, the upper limit position of
focusing according to the situation, you can set
the temporary upper limit position on the touch
screen. Please refer to the touch screen manual for
detailed operation instructions.
