4.6.1
Swivelling the drill head
The drill head can be swung up to 45 ° to
the right or left.
Loosen the clamping screws of the
drill head.
Set the desired angle using the scale.
Retighten the clamping screws of the
drill head.
ATTENTION!
It is possible to slew the drill head
much further. By continuing to swing
gear oil can leak.

CAUTION!
If the screws are completely unfastened, the spindle head might fall down.
When slewing the working head, only unfasten the screws as far as necessary to be
ableto perform the settings. After having set the slewing angle, retighten the fixing
screws.
INFORMATION
The drill head should be aligned after resetting to the initial position with a dial indicator so that
holes can be produced with the spindle sleeve at a right angle.
4.6.2
Turning the drill head
The drill head can be turned around the axis of the drilling column.
Release the clamping lever respectively the locknut on the drill head.
Turn the drill head to the desired position.
Retighten the clamping lever respectively the locknut on the drill head.
4.6.3
Lifting and lowering the drill head
It is possible to lift the drill head using the drill head crank handle.
Position the drill head at a higher position if you need a larger distance between the drilling
sleeve and the drilling table. Possible adjustment 0 - 265mm.
