IO Link Down Detected
This event occurs when the RJ45 cable
between the IO stepper board and the OPEX IO
link port is unplugged, and when the IO stepper
board is powered off. If either of those
conditions are true and the scanner is running,
the controller will issue the
IO Link Down
Detected jam and CertainScan will present a
stoppage dialog screen with the text of “Link
Down, Check Cable and Power”.
The
Machine Parameter > Module Disable
Parameters > disable io link down detection is
associated with this event. If
disable io link
down detection is set to 0 (the default), this
event will be detected and jam if necessary as
described above. If
disable io link detection is
set to
1
, this event is not detected.
