SPEAKERS A:
This button turns on or off the speakers connected to the FRONT
SPEAKERS A, CENTER SPEAKER, SURROUND SPEAKERS
and SUBWOOFER terminals. When the speakers are turned on, the
SPEAKERS A indicator lights up.
SPEAKERS B:
This button turns on or off the speakers connected to the FRONT
SPEAKERS B terminals. When the speakers are turned on, the
SPEAKERS B indicator lights up.
Note:
•
You cannot use A and B speakers simultaneously.
•
When you select Dolby Pro Logic, Hall or Multi-CH Input, be
sure to turn on SPEAKERS A.
•
The subwoofer outputs sound only when SPEAKERS A is set to
ON.
Treble and Bass
are effective only for the Front left and right speak-
ers or headphones.
The best results are obtained from DOLBY PRO LOGIC Surround
when the center and left and right front speakers contain the same
amounts of mid and high frequencies. As the Treble and Bass con-
trol do not affect the Center speaker, adjust the tone controls for the
left and right front speakers to match the sound produced from the
center speaker. Because of this, we recommend you use a good qual-
ity center speaker.
You can adjust the volume level of the connected subwoofer. Press
the CH SEL button on the remote controller to display the SUB-
WOOFER indicator, and press the LEVEL
π
or

button to adjust
the level. (between –
