You can combine two adjacent tracks into
one. Note, however, that you cannot com-
bine an analog monaural track with another
type of track (e.g., recorded via analog ste-
reo, Digital 1, Digital 2).
This function is available while the unit is
stopped, paused or playing.
1. Turn the AMCS knob to select the
larger number of the two adjacent
tracks you wish to combine.
•
If both tracks have titles, the first track’s
title will be used for a combined track.
•
If only the first track has a title, that title
will be used.
•
If only the latter track has a title, that
title will be erased.
2. Press the EDIT/NO button several
times until “Combine?” appears on
the display.
•
To cancel the operation...
Press the EDIT/NO button again, or
press the
■
STOP button.
3. Press the YES button again.
The part at which the two tracks are to
be combined plays (for 8 seconds)
repeatedly, with “Rehearsal” and “Track
OK?” alternately showing on the dis-
play.
4. Press the YES button to combine the
tracks you have selected.
When the tracks are combined, “Com-
plete” appears on the display, and the
subsequent track numbers advance. For
example, if you combine track 3 with
track 2, track 4 is renumbered as track
3; track 5 is renumbered as track 4, and
so on.
Note:
While the TOC indicator is lit or flashing,
do not move or unplug the MD recorder.
