Recording an AM/FM Broadcast Program to an MD
To record a very long program, switch the record-
ing mode. (Refer to page 37.)

Insert an MD.

Select “FM” or “AM” for input.

Turn MULTI JOG to select a preset channel.

Press REC to set the FR-X7A into recording

Press MD
(play/pause) to start recording.
When the MD is recorded up to its end, recording automati-
cally stops.
To stop a recording while in progress, press MD .
Checking the recorded data
After recording is complete, press the MD recorder’s
button or the remote controller’s
button for MD. Playback starts
from the top of the recording.
To pause recording
Press MD
.
Press the button again to
resume recording from the
stopped point. At this time, the
track number increases by one.
Numbering the desired
song(s)
Press
REC during recording
of the desired song. If the inter-
val between two presses of
REC is shorter than four sec-
onds, the songs may not be
numbered.
