Installation and Connections
Connecting the Cable to the Host Device
1.
Connect the cable connector to the RS-232C
interface on the host device, making sure that
the connector is oriented correctly and not
inserted at an angle. Secure the connector
using the screws on both sides of the connec-
tor.
Removing the Cable from the Host Device
1.
Remove the cable.
Loosen the screws on both sides of the connector and pull
the connector out straight.
Be sure to loosen the screws on both sides of the
connector sufficiently before removing the connec-
tor and do not use excessive force.
