Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the MS2800 series Safety Light Curtain. This is the instruction manual
describing the use of the MS2800 system.
Important notice
This manual provides installation and operating information on the following models:
Where information is common on all models the term "MS2800 system" will be used. Where informa-
tion is given for a specific model the model number will be used.
Always heed the following points when using the MS2800 system:
1.
Be sure to have MS2800 system handled by a "Responsible Person" who is well aware of and
familiar with the machine to be installed.
2.
The term "Responsible Person" used in this Instruction manual means the person qualified,
authorized and responsible to secure "safety" in each process of the design, installation, oper-
ation, maintenance services and disposition of the machine.
3.
It is assumed that MS2800 system will be used properly according to the installation environ-
ment, performance and function of the machine. Responsible Person should conduct risk
assessment on the machine and determine the suitability of this product before installation.
4.
Read this Manual thoroughly to understand and make good use of the descriptions before
installing and operating the product.
5.
Keep this Manual at the place where the operator can refer to whenever necessary.
