Errors 5 - 9 indicate a malfunction of the unit.
Remove the battery, wait for 1 minute, and reinsert
the battery again. If the message still appears,
please contact OMRON customer service.
• Forehead measurement mode: The temperature
reading is higher than 108 °F (+42.2 °C).
• Surface measurement mode: The temperature
reading is higher than 176 °F (+80 °C).
Use the unit within its measurable range. If a
malfunction still exists, please contact OMRON
customer service.

reading is lower than 93.2 °F (+34 °C).
• Surface measurement mode: The temperature
reading is lower than -7.6 °F (-22 °C).
