Creating a Project
Creating New Projects
with CX-Programmer

Start the CX-Programmer and select
New
from the File Menu.

In the Change PLC Window, select a
Device Type
that supports function
blocks. These are listed in the following table.

Press the Settings Button and select the
CPU Type.

Function Blocks
icon will appear in the project
workspace as shown below.

Function block definitions are created by inserting function block defini-
tions after the Function Blocks icon.

or structured text.
