You can check the effect of exposure compensation or white balance on a 4-split screen.

Press the INFO button repeatedly to display the
multi view display.

• The exposure compensation comparison screen is
displayed. Press

to switch to the white balance
comparison screen. Press
ac
to switch the screen.

Use
bd
or the dial to select the setting value, then
press the i button.
• You can take the picture using the set value.

Notes
• Exposure compensation is not available in
M
or BULB modes.
• This function cannot be used when the picture mode is set to an art filter.
• When the exposure compensation value exceeds
±3, the effect is not displayed correctly.
It is possible to enlarge the subject for display. Enlarging the image during MF makes focus
confirmation and adjustment easier.

Press the
Fn
button/

(preview) button to display the zoom display.
• The enlargement frame will be displayed.
• In this state, press the shutter button halfway, and focus using the enlargement frame
regardless of the AF target setting. (Zoom frame AF)

Use
p
to move the frame and press the
Fn
button/

(preview) button.
• The area inside the frame is enlarged and displayed.
• In this state, press the shutter button halfway to focus while zoomed.
• Press and hold the
i button to return the enlargement frame to the center after it was
moved.

Turn the dial to change the magnification (5×/7×/10×/14×).
• Use
p
to scroll the frame even during magnification.
• Press the i button, or press and hold the
Fn
button/

(preview) button to cancel the zoom
display.
To enlarge the image just by rotating the focus ring:
