Condenser setting
1. Tap the [Optical] tab

in the [System Setting] display to open the [Optical]
display.
2. Tap the [Condenser] tab ² in the [Optical] display (Fig. 13).
3. Register the optical element actually mounted on the condenser for each
condenser turret position number. Tap one of the turret position numbers
in use

to open the [Condenser] screen for the number (Fig. 14).
4. Select the type of the optical element and tap the
OK
button

register the type.
5. Register the types of optical elements in other turret position numbers by
repeating the above for each. No setting is required for the unused turret
position numbers.
6. If you want to set another item, tap the tab for the desired setting. If you
want to exit the system setting, tap the [X] marking to close the [System
Setting] screen.

Other settings
In addition to the unit and optical settings, the system setting provides the
following settings. Set these items as required.
· ECO, Others: This is used to set the touch panel operations including
the panel brightness and operation tone volume.
· Customaized: This is used to set the microscope operations such as the
focus limits and parfocality correction.
· Setting Lock: This is used to lock the settings made with the unit and
optical settings.
For the detailed setting methods, refer to the Help for the touch panel
controller.
