cause of a problem.
If an internal component needs to be tested, remove the scale
enclosure according to
Disassembly
on page 3-5 and then
follow the instructions in
Problems & Solutions
on page 3-9.
If the loadcell is damaged, return the scale to Olympic Medical
for service.
After identifying a problem PCB, see

on page 3-12.
NOTE:
Do not remove PCBs for troubleshooting.
Disassembly
WARNING: Electrical shock hazard when enclosure is
removed. Disconnect power cord from electrical outlet
before cleaning or servicing.
CAUTION: PC boards contain static-sensitive parts.
Always use appropriate ESD protection when enclosure
is removed.
1. Turn the scale off and disconnect power cord from electrical
outlet.
2. Remove tray by unscrewing four Phillips screws holding tray
legs (
Fig. 3F
).
