Notes on Use

G

Please check the contents of the package carefully. If anything is missing or has been damaged
during transport, DO NOT put the smoke detector into operation!

Notes on Use

• The smoke detectors can be deployed

individually

 or in

combination

 (in a master/slave opera

tion).
Alternatively, the smoke detectors can be

connected to each other

 via a Protect alarm system

base unit

.

• The smoke detector only monitors a

limited area

! Therefore, install a sufficient number of smoke

detectors to ensure optimum protection.

• The smoke detectors only operate correctly with fully functional, correctly inserted batteries. The

smoke detectors must not be operated with

rechargeable batteries

.

• The smoke detectors must

not

 be

painted over

and the air vents

must not be covered

.

• The smoke detectors detect smoke from a fire,

not the flames

 themselves.

• It should be possible to hear the smoke detectors in the

entire living area

.

• People under the influence of alcohol, medication or drugs

may not be alerted/woken

 by the

alarm signal.
