2. SYSTEM RESET. INITIALISATION MACHINE.
System Reset:
If the Cash Register is turned on (with the 220V mains), subsequent disconnecting/connecting an internal standby lithium
battery shall cause initialisation of the Cash Register and its memories, and start of the Cash Register. (All programmed
data, sales, etc. … are deleted !!!!). The status is indicated by characters “
CL
” on the Cash Register display. Following
that, the entire system has to initialised in S – mode. (see Chapter Cash Register Initialisation). This system reset takes
places upon EPROM replacement, upon initial initialisation of the Cash Register or in case the Cash Register does not
respond to warm reset.
System reset, step-by-step:

Turn key to position OFF

Disconnect Cash Register from the 220 V mains Keep the key

pressed and simultaneously connect the Cash Register to the 220V mains

Release the key

Turn the key to PRG and then go to SYSTEM RESET on the display with the
arrow key.
¾
Press the
[
FDVK
]
key, the cash desk RESETs and shows the
Programme mode in the display.
¾
Abort the SYSTEM RESET, go to CONTINUE with the arrow and press the
[
FDVK
]
key.
Warm Reset:
This cash desk start should only be used if the following key combination is unsuccessful:

A warm start can be manually performed as following:
1. According to the procedure for warm start
2. By pressing the „RESET“ BUTTON on the motherboard of the cash desk
(on the left next to the E Prom)
