Cash Register Operation – Tracking System only Hospitality version
The tracking system serves to record individual registrations. A TRACK can be opened at any time, registered or
corrected with PLU or DEPT and the track can be closed again. The final receipt is printed out after the track has been
paid.
Comment:
All the transactions described in Chapter 5 are operated identically in connection with the tracks. An
exception is that the first step is always to open the track and the final transaction to close the track.
6.1 Opening and closing tracks
only Hospitality Version
The cash register can open a maximum of 800 tracks. All transactions are made after opening a track and concluded by
pressing the Track key (automatically on removing the clerk key or opening another track).
Example:
Opening track # 100 and closing it again (without payment!!!!)

A track view can be printed out on the ECR printer at any time. This does not concern a bill but simply a "review of the
track". For this reason, the view does not have the attributes of a bill and is marked by the term "REVIEW".
