Materials of the device
The housing of the device is made of painted plastic; the star base and the
column tubes are made of chromium-plated metals.

from electric shock. To perform cleaning and maintenance
tasks, switch off the device and disconnect it from the mains.
4.1.1 Cleaning the Surfaces
To avoid color stains on plastic surfaces, residues of colors and products
must always be removed immediately. Note that certain hair chemicals
(mainly directly active colors) can cause stains on the surface of the device
which cannot be removed.
Incompatible cleaning agents!
Incompatible cleaning agents!
Solvents can dissolve plastic materials. Strong acids or bases
can lead to the plastic materials becoming brittle.
To clean the plastic components and surfaces:
• Avoid using hydrocarbon solvents,
• refrain from using cleaning agents with an alcoholic
strength of more than 10 % by volume,
• no not use strong acids or bases!
Cleaning agents containing chloride can lead to corrosion of
stainless steel.
• To clean the column tubes, only use cleaning agents
approved for stainless steel!
Display sensitive to moisture!
Do not wipe the display with a moist cloth and do not spray it
with cleaning products!
• Wipe the display with a dry 100% microfiber cloth.
Suitable cleaning agents
1. Wipe plastic surfaces with a soft cloth moistened with a regular
household cleaner.
2. Afterwards, wipe the surfaces dry with a clean cloth.
