Product Introduction
Olivetti continues to strengthen its A4 Colour MFP Range
In line with its continuing strategy to provide office workgroups with the very best in
MFP productivity and reliability, Olivetti have recently released two new 26ppm A4
colour MFPs, the
d-Color MF2603
and
d-Color MF2604
. Both offer the convenience
of printing, copying and scanning, in one compact model, while those who need the
addition of fax functionality, can obtain this through the
d-Color MF2604
.
Key features of these models include an RADF, a maximum paper capacity of up to
1,300 A4 sheets, supporting up to 220 g/m
2
media weight, active directory support for
IPsec and SSL, a standard memory of 768 MB and a very useful feature known as Smart
Duplex.
Smart Duplex is a very strong cost and environment saving application. For example, if
duplex is set as the printing default on the engine, but only 1 side of a multi-page
document is requested for print, the user is only charged for that single page rather
than two pages as with many competitive models.
These machines also offer Quick Print Profiles to enable the
printer driver to recall a user’s favourite settings, such as their
own ‘Home Page’. In addition, an Administrator could create
a black-only print profile and link it to MS Word. Whenever
the user prints from a MS Word document, they can only
print in mono even if the document contains colour data; or
create a colour only print profile and link it to MS PowerPoint
or Adobe. This is ideal for users, and also to companies, who
are not using accounts or authentication to manage their
printing costs.
