Malfunctions and causes (RELATING TO REMOTE CONTROL)
Before requesting assistance check the following points
Impossible to change the settings
Problema

Reasons and solution
Impossible to change the fan
speed.
- Check that the mode indicated on
the display is "AUTO".
AUTO
- Check that the mode indicated on
the display is "DRY".
DRY
- If the automatic mode is
selected, the conditioner
automatically selects the fan
speed.
- If the dehumidification mode
is selected, the conditioner
automatically selects the fan
speed. The fan speed can be
selected in modes "COOL",
"FAN ONLY" and "HEAT"
(excluding the "cooling only"
models)
The transmission indicator "
" never appears
Problem

Reasons
The signal from the remote
control is not transmitted even if
the ON/OFF button is pressed.
- Check if the ON TIMER indication
is present on the display.
- The signal from the remote
control is not transmitted
because the conditioner is OFF.
The display never switches on
Problem
Cause
Reasons
The TEMP indication does not
switch on
- Check that the mode indicated on
the display is "FAN ONLY".
FAN ONLY
- The temperature cannot be
set in the ventilation only
mode.
The Display switches off
Problem
Cause
Reasons
The indication on the display
disappears after some time.
The TIMER indications switch off
after some time.
- Check if the operation with timer is
terminated when OFF TIMER
appears on the display.
- Check if the operation with timer is
started when ON TIMER is
indicated on the display.
- The conditioner operation
stops once the set time has
elapsed.
- When the time for switching
on is reached, the conditioner
starts automatically and the
relative indication switches
off.
The signal received tone does not sound,
Problem
Cause
Reasons
The signal received from the
indoor unit tone is not heard even
if the ON/OFF button is pressed.
- Check that the signal transmitter
on the remote control is turned
towards the receiver on the indoor
unit when the ON/OFF button is
pressed.
- Point the remote control signal
transmitter towards the receiver
of the indoor unit and then
rapidly press twice the ON/ OFF
button.
