MC361/MC561 Basic User’s Guide
When Forwarding Received Faxes (Forward
Mode)
When the machine is set to Forward Mode, it automatically forwards
the received faxes to a specified destination. You must specify a
forwarding destination in advance.
• You can register one forwarding destination for this function.

• You can set the machine to forward received faxes to e-mail
addresses and a network folder as digital data without printing
them. For details, refer to the Advanced User’s Guide at
www.my.okidata.com.
Using Distinctive Ring Detection (DRD)
In this mode, the machine distinguishes the DRD type of the sender.
The machine then answers only when it matches the registered DRD
type. You can register up to four DRD types.
Printing Received Faxes
The machine automatically prints out the received fax. You can
specify the paper tray to use.
NOTES
• Do not pull out the paper trays when the machine is printing.
• Use only standard or recycled paper. sizes letter, legal or A4.
• Images larger than the specified paper are reduced, discarded,
or printed onto multiple sheets of paper depending on the
