ETTING
THE
FAX
FACILITY
I
NITIAL
SET
UP
The following parameters
must
be set before using the fax
function on your MFP:
>
Date and time
>
Country code
>
Station ID and number
There are other parameters that can be adjusted to suit your
personal preferences later if required, refer to fax set up table for
details (
See “Fax settings” on page 41.
).
To set fax parameters:
1.
Press the
Menu
button to prompt the menu settings
screen.
2.
Using the
UP
arrow key, navigate to Management and
press
OK
.
3.
When prompted, enter the password and press
OK
.
4.
Press
OK
to select Date/Time.
5.
Enter today’s date and the correct time, then press
OK
to
confirm.
6.
Using the
UP
arrow key, navigate to Country Code and
press
OK
.
7.
Select the country in which the MFP is situated and press
OK
.
8.
Press
Return
to go back to the main menu settings
screen.
9.
Using the
UP
arrow key, navigate to Fax Settings and
press
OK
.
10.
Using the
UP
arrow key, navigate to Setup Fax and press
OK
.
11.
Press
OK
to select Station ID.
