5 Maintenance
5.1 Maintenance and care
Oilon and Lämpöässä heat pumps are highly reliable and easy to maintain. If the
system has been installed with care and in accordance with the instructions provided,
there is usually no need for maintenance.
It is recommended to check the following at least once a year:
● Fluid level in the filling bottle (if installed in the system's brine circuit).

monthly in the first year.

● Brine circuit pressure (if a pressurized brine circuit is used). Guideline value: 1 bar.

Annual inspection
According to rules and regulations by authorities, appliances with a refrigerant charge
greater than 6 kg must undergo annual leakage testing. Heat pumps with a 3–6 kg
refrigerant charge are hermetically sealed, and do not require annual inspection.
A periodic inspection service is available for our heat pumps. During each inspection,
the heat pump’s operation is checked step by step. Any observations will be recorded
in an inspection report and the necessary corrective measures (such as adjustments to
settings) will be taken. For more information about the service, contact your dealer.
5.2 Typical problems during operation
If you are unable to fix the problem based on the information below, it is advisable to
first contact your local dealer or the system installer.
