Calibration
Span calibration from the service menu allows you to set a new zero and maximum setting.
This is distinct from user level span calibration, which allows a user to adjust the zero and
maximum setting within the range established by the service menu span setting.
Span calibration automatically follows Linear calibration. To start from the Service Menu, press

NOTE:
If calibration fails, ensure that the test area is free from drafts and the surface the scale
rests on is level and free of vibrations. Then try to calibrate again. If it continues to fail, there
may be an internal problem. To resolve internal problems, follow procedures in Chapter 3.
