3.8.9 Replacing the Temperature Sensor
1. Remove the Reflector and Heater, as explained in Section 3.9.2.
2. Remove the screw and washer that
secure the Temperature Sensor
Cable. (See Figure 3-34.)
3. Lift the Temperature Sensor Cable out
of the cavity in the Chamber Top.

4. Remove the clip that secures the
Heater. (See Figure 3-35.)
5. Remove the screws and washers that
secure the Temperature Sensor.
(See Figure 3-36.)
6. Lift out the Temperature Sensor.
7. Install the new Temperature Sensor
and insert the screws and washers
that secure it.

8. Thread the Temperature Sensor Cable
around the plastic post on the side of
the Chamber Top Housing, as shown.
Insert the screw and washer.
9. Connect the Temperature Sensor
Cable.
10. Replace the clip that secures the
Heater, the Reflector and the
Chamber Top. (See Section 3.9.2.)
11. Reassemble the Heater Unit and Re-
install the Top Housing.
12. Perform a Temperature Calibration.
(See Appendix A.)
13. If Calibration is successful, conduct
Performance Tests. (See Chapter 4.)
