REMOVING THE MOTOR

CAUTION

: 

Move the lock switch into the locked position and remove the battery pack from tool before 

disassembling/reassembling any parts.

Move the lock switch into the locked position 

and remove the battery pack from tool before 

attempting to disassemble or reassemble the 

tool.

Step 1.

When the motor is removed, the transmission bar 

will be pulled out at the same 

time. This will disengage the 

transmission bar from the 

drive mechanism. 

Disassemble the drive 

mechanism after removing 

the motor (please refer to 

operation on page 10).

       Step 4.

Remove the “POWER” poly sticker annexed upon the retaining bolt. 

Using a 2mm hex driver, remove the retaining bolt located 

just behind the start button. 

Remove the top plate and holding two-step pin. 

Remove the start button, spring and solid 

pin.

Remove the lock switch by sliding it out.  

Step 2.

Unscrew the handle shell and remove it from 

the tool body.

Use a 1.5mm hex driver to remove the retaining 

bolt as shown.

Slide the motor out of its housing, 

the transmission bar will be pulled 

out together.
