5.5 Replacing the Drive Belt (if equipped)
Review the safety section of this manual before attempt-
ing these procedures.
Thoroughly read and understand the safety and
pre-operating sections of this manual before work-
ing on the unit.

Open the belt guard (figure 5.2a) to gain access
to the power band.
Remove the top cover plate (figure 5.2b).
Loosen the 1/2" nut on the engine mount adjuster
bolts (item A on figure 5.2b & 5.2c). There are 4,
one in each corner.
Removing Drive Belt (refer to 5.1a thru 5.1d):

Make sure the negative battery cable is discon-
nected before opening the blower housing.
