When the tension bar is clearly longer than the media width, set the tension bar fl anges and fi xing rings to the
tension bar.

Create a slack area in the media.

Peel roller
(1) Press the tension bar to the peel roller’s
upper part.
(2) By pressing the media advance/rewind
switch, create a slack area in the media.
Then, with slightly pressing the tension bar
in the direction of the media rear side, install
the tension bar in the slack.
Slacken off to a level lower than the supply-side slack
sensor.
When the slack reaches the sensor detection area, the
operation panel blips.

CAUTION
- Do not rotate the peel roller, or the Printer may be
damaged.
- Be sure to rotate the peel roller with the media
advance/rewind switch.
