Océ 3165 Key Operator Manual
Saving/restoring account information
All the information in the accounting data base can be stored on floppy disk,
then changed using a spreadsheet application and finally restored onto the
Océ 3165 Network Copier. This allows you to make a large number of changes
in an easy way. It is also the only way to add user names to existing account
numbers.
The file saved on floppy disk is an ASCII file in which values are separated by
commas and which has the extension .CSV.

Saving account information

Place a 3.5" floppy disk into the disk drive of the DAC.

Access the key operator system (see page 13).

Open the ‘Accounting’ section and select ‘Data base’.

Press the function button ‘Disk’ to select ‘Save to’.

Press start (
) to confirm.
The accounting information is saved to disk.

Quit the key operator system.
You can now edit the .CSV file.

Restoring account information

Place the floppy disk into the disk drive of the DAC.

Access the key operator system (see page 13).

Open the ‘Accounting’ section and select ‘Data base’.

Press the function button ‘Disk’ twice to select ‘Read from’.

Press start (
) to confirm.
The accounting information is read from disk.

When ready, quit the key operator system.
