Locking function
The plates of the appliance can be locked in closed position for easy storage. Press the
plates and pull forwards the locking button furthest away at the core. To reopen, push
the button in the opposite direction.
Cleaning and maintenance
• Turn off the appliance by pushing the switch to OFF. Unplug the appliance and let the
appliance cool completely on the enclosed pouch before cleaning.
• Note that use of chemicals may damage the surface of the appliance.
• Make sure that the appliance is out of reach for children. The appliance gets very hot
during use and it will take time for it too cool.
• Never immerse the appliance or cord in water or other liquids. It must never come in
direct contact with water.
• Do not let water escape under the cover.
• Dry the appliance cover and appliance with a damp cloth. Wipe with a dry cloth.
• Do not wind the cord around the appliance.
• Make sure that the appliance has cooled completely before storage.
• Store the appliance on a dry safe place away from children after use.
Do not wind the cord around the appliance as this will lead to an abnormal strain
with a risk of breaking the cord.
Safety instructions
1. Read the instruction manual carefully before use, and save it for future use.
2. Plug the appliance to a household outlet of 220-240V only, and use the appliance only
for the intended use.
3. Always unplug the appliance from the mains supply when not in use.
4. The appliance must not be immersed in to water or other liquids.
5. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
6. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Children are not always able to understand potential risks. Teach children a responsible
handling of electrical appliances.
7. Check that the cord is not hanging over the edge of the table.
8. The appliance should only be used under supervision.

Warning.
Never use the appliance with wet hands, over a sink, bathtub or similar
containing water. Never place the appliance on a wet or damp surface.
10. Always unplug the appliance from the mains supply immediately after use, if the
appliance is used in a bathroom since the proximity of water presents a hazard even
when the appliance is switched off.
11. Always examine appliance, cord and plug for damage before use. If the supply cord is
damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, or his service agent or a similarly
qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
12. For additional protection the installation of a residual current device (RCD) with a
rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is recommended. Ask your
installer for advice.
13. The appliance is for domestic use only.
