WARNING: This appliance must be earthed.
The boiler and all external control circuit wiring must be supplied from the sam
e single isolating switch or plug and socket.
Care must be taken to ensure that all wiring to the boiler is kept clear of sharp
edges and hot surfaces.
Ensure that the earth conductor is longer than the L, N, and SwL from the poin
t of anchorage, so that the current carrying conductors become taut before the
earth conductor,if the cable is pulled out of the cable clamp. The boiler termin
al block which is situated in the control panel, see (
FIG. 2 ) is not designed to a
ccept wiring from all the on-
sitecontrols and therefore the installer will usually need to incorporate a suitabl
e junction box or Potterton Electronic Programmer.
