Note: An NXP specific USB driver is required on the computer for the NXP GUI to operate correctly.
3.1
NXP GUI and Standalone (“Trade Show”) Modes
When not connected to a computer the Fm+ Development Board (OM13260) operates as a standalone
system, but still requires the installation of firmware on the board.
The supplied NXP software package includes two different firmware programs, see table 3.1.

The “Trade Show” mode activates the LEDs on the Fm+ Development Board (OM13260) and also on
the optional GPIO Target Boards (OM13303) if attached. This “Blinky lights” are a suitable
demonstration for Trade Shows.
3.2
Kit Contents
Before using the kit for the first time, please familiarize yourself with the various components, as
shown in Table 3.1 See figure 3.1 and figure 3.2
Note: Each PCB assembly is shipped in an anti-static bag
.
After the first time use these may be abandoned to simplify future storage.
