A.6 Raspberry Pi 2
The Raspberry Pi 2 single-board computer (Model B) is intended to be used in an IoT
Gateway to form an interface between a low-power wireless network and an
IP-based network (see
). It is supplied with accessories consisting of:
Dedicated 5V DC power supply unit (universal type) with USB port
microSD card (pre-installed and pre-programmed with NXP firmware)
Wi-Pi Raspberry Pi 802.11n wireless adaptor
NXP PN7120 NFC Controller (described in
RJ45 Ethernet cable
‘USB to Micro USB’ cable (for power supply)
The Raspberry Pi with NFC Controller board mounted is shown in
which also shows the Wi-Pi adaptor and a JN5179 USB Dongle connected via ‘USB
to USB’ extension cables to allow radio isolation between the dongle and adaptor.
Note:
Any two of the three components must be at least
20 cm apart, and the USB dongle and Wi-Pi adaptor
should be roughly perpendicular to each other
