• The “Nightlight” function is temporarily
deactivated so that you do not
inadvertently disturb baby.
In this case the lightbulb
symbol will flash while the
FULL-ECO-CONTROL function
checks the connection between
the two units.
– To prevent the nightlight from switching
on later, you can again press the
Nightlight on/off
button
immediately cancel the function. The
flashing symbol will then disappear
from the display.
– If you choose to switch on the
nightlight anyway, there may be a delay
of up to 30 seconds before this
happens. In Eco-Mode, the activation
command is not transmitted until the
next range check is carried out (see
"Range check in Eco-Mode“ on
page 32).
7. Cleaning and care
7.1 Cleaning
Warning!
To avoid the risk of
electric shocks, injuries and
damage:
– Always disconnect the mains
adapter from the power socket
before cleaning the device.
– Never immerse the individual
parts in water.
Caution!
Under no circumstances use
abrasive, corrosive or scratching cleaning
agents, as these could damage the device.
1. If necessary, wipe the individual parts
with a damp cloth.
2. Only use the baby monitor again when all
the parts have fully dried out.
7.2 Changing the battery
The installed 3.7V 1200 mAh lithium polymer
battery (LiPo) may be replaced only by a
genuine replacement battery as used by us.
If necessary please contact our Product
Service (see "Product service babyphone in
Europe“ on page 91).
1. Remove the battery cover
on the back
of the parent unit
, by sliding it
downwards.
2. Remove the defective battery.
3. Put the new battery in its compartment
as indicated on the unit. Make sure you
insert it with the correct polarity (+ and -).
4. Slide the battery cover
back onto the

5. Initially, charge the parent unit
continuously
for 10 hours
to activate the
full battery capacity (see "4.1 Connecting
the parent unit" on page 30).
