In the following illustrations, the two controllers are configured in an Active-Active
Dual Port mode with the internal hubs disabled.
In the example below, two hosts are connected via two independent switches.
Using external switches supports higher bandwidth, since the host ports are not
required to share bandwidth on a loop.
