2.1.4.5. DDNS
DDNS address is used for assigning a static name for dynamic IP address. When using DDNS domain
name to access DVR, user shall confirm that the port can be normally connected to current IP on the
public network and the settings for server address/host name/user/password/setting should be
consistent with DVR local setting.
Note:
Although the DVR features the ability to manage dynamic IP addresses, activating the
DDNS service in a router connected to the DVR is advised.
Note:
Prior to configuring, please register the IP address using one of the DDNS servers available
in the DVR.

Prior to configuring the DDNS function please contact your network administrator to obtain
the required network settings.
