My network does not appear in the wireless network list.

Verify that the MiFi LEDs are on and are not showing an error condition. Refer to your Quick
Start Guide for a table of LED states.

Refresh your network list.

Windows:
Click
Refresh Network List
on the left side of the Wireless Network Connection screen. If
that does not work you can try the following:
1. Open
Network Connections
.
2. Right-click
Wireless Network Connection
and select
Properties
.
3. Click the
Wireless Networks
tab.
4. Delete any unused wireless connections from the Preferred Networks list and click
OK
.
5. Restart your computer.

Mac: Try rebooting your computer.
The LED stays solid red or “SIM not found” displays on the MobiLink Connection
Manager

The SIM card may be missing or inserted incorrectly. Pull out the battery and reseat the SIM
card. Be careful not to touch the contact points when handling the card. [See
Install SIM Card
and Battery
(page 4).

The LED is flashing red.

The SIM card is locked. Enter your PIN code when prompted. If you enter the wrong PIN code 3
times, you will be prompted to enter your PUK code. If you enter the wrong PUK code 10 times,
your SIM card will be locked forever. Contact your network provider to obtain a new SIM card.
I see the network name but cannot connect to MiFi.

Check the user name, password, and access point name (APN) in your connection profile. If any
of these are wrong, you will not be able to connect to the network. [See

I get a message that MobiLink 3 cannot be installed when I try to use MiFi in
USB mode.

You might not have administrative privileges. Contact your system administrator or log on to
your computer as an administrator and try plugging it in again.
