Setting Up a Temporary Hotspot
You can use the device to set up a temporary hotspot
to allow a maximum of five devices to connect to your
MiFi 2200.
1. Open the browser interface (page 13).

Select
WiFi > WiFi Profiles
from the menu bar at the
top of the Home screen.

Select
Temporary Hotspot
from the Profile list.
The screen that appears shows a new temporary
Network Name (SSID) and Network Key.

Note the temporary hotspot Network Name and
Network Key. In the example shown above, they
are “Sprint MiFi2200 A41 Temp” and “12345”.
5.
Click
Apply
and then give the Network Name and
Network Key that were generated to your
workgroup so they can connect to the device. (You
can click “Generate new values” to have a different
Network Name and Network Key generated.)
