12 Section 2C. Using Your MiFi 2200 Device
Using the Master Reset Button
Your device comes with a master reset button that
allows you to return it to its factory default state.
The master reset button is recessed in a hole on the
back of the device. You will need a paperclip or
similar object to push the button.
1.
Make sure the device is powered on.
2.
Locate the master reset button on the back of the
device near the battery cover.
3.
Insert a paperclip into the hole and hold the
button down for three seconds until the green
LED goes off and then blinks.
Your list of wireless networks will now show the
original default network when you first configured
your device.
4.
Connect to the device again and reconfigure it
using the Initial Setup Wizard. (See “Connecting
to the MiFi 2200” on page 9.)
