Plug the other end of the AC wall charger into the
appropriate electrical outlet.
Charge at least 2.5 hours
to ensure a full initial charge before using the device the
first time.
Battery Tips
Battery life depends on the network, signal strength,
temperature, features, and accessories you use.

Your device will also work with certain other Sprint-
approved chargers, including car chargers.

If you connect your device to your computer using a
USB data cable, the battery will charge. However, the
device will not function as a wireless access point
while connected to your computer .

It normally takes at least 2.5 hours to fully charge the
battery.
Note • You must have a fully charged battery the first
time you use the MiFi 2200.
• After the first use, you may use the device while
it is connected to the AC wall charger.
• When using battery power, the device lasts up
to four hours (when connected to a single
device only).
• The battery will discharge more rapidly as
additional devices access the MiFi 2200.
• The battery lasts up to 40 hours in standby
mode.
WARNING Use only Sprint-approved or Novatel Wireless-
approved batteries and chargers with your
device. The failure to use a Sprint-approved or
Novatel Wireless-approved battery and
charger may increase the risk that your device
will overheat, catch fire, or explode, resulting in
serious bodily injury, death, or property
damage.
