8 Quick Start

For Windows 95 installation:

Select Start/Settings/Printers then double-click the Add Printer icon.

When prompted, select 'Have Disk' then type <cd
drive>:\drivers\Windows\(language)\95 and select OK
OR
select 'Browse' then navigate to <cd drive>:\drivers\Windows\(language)\95
select 'OK'.
For Windows NT 4.0

Select Start/Settings/Printers then double-click the Add Printer icon.

drive>:\drivers\(language)\NT40 and select OK
OR
select 'Browse' then navigate to <cd drive>:\drivers\Windows\(language)\

For Macintosh

With the CD-ROM in the disk drive, navigate to Drivers\Macepu\(language)
and double-click the Install Print Utility icon.

Click Continue. Driver installation information displays. You may want to
print it at this time.

Click Continue and the program will prompt you with further instructions.

Select the port to which your printer is connected. If you are using a
FastPort print server, select AppleTalk for the port, then select FastPort in
the Chooser using one of the Laserwriter drivers.
If you are not using AppleTalk, you will need a standard ImageWriter cable
attached to either the printer or modem port. Attach the other end of the
cable to the RS-422 port on the printer. Refer to the instructions on the CD-
ROM for further details.
