GBIC MDA

The 450-1GBIC MDA (

Figure 9

) has a single Host port for 

Gigabit Interface Converters (GBICs). GBICs are hot-swappable 
input/output enhancement components that link Gigabit Ethernet 
ports with fiber optic networks.
