Preface
This manual describes the features, installation process, initial configuration, troubleshooting and
specifications of the Application Switch 2208, 2216, 2424, 2424-SSL and 3408.

Who Should Use This Book
This manual is intended for network installers and system administrators engaged in configuring
and maintaining a Gigabit Ethernet network. It assumes that you are familiar with Ethernet
concepts and the physical process of switch installation.
