Feed in the new conveyor belt making sure that it passes through the
underside of the conveyor correctly and through the ’Tracker Rollers’ as
shown below.

Join the new belt together using the new joiner pin supplied with the belt.
Bend over the wire end to stop the pin from coming out. Cut the bent over
end down to 3mm.

Tension the belt by re--tightening the ’Tension Adjusters’. Avoid over
tightening the belt, only add enough tension to obtain an effective drive.
Carefully run the conveyor, slowly at first, adjusting the tension adjusters to
ensure that the new belt runs centrally over the idle roller (entry end).
Observe the ’Tracker Rollers’ which are below the entry end of the conveyor
to see if the belt is running correctly. Note: the belt may not track centrally
over the drive roller (exit end), this is normal, and may change as the belt
’settles in’. Check occasionally that the belt is running correctly.
