Operation
WARNING: Allow only qualified personnel to perform the

WARNING: This equipment can be dangerous unless it is used
in accordance with the rules laid down in this manual.
This section describes basic operating procedures for the Sure Coat
automatic powder spray gun. Refer to your other powder application
equipment manuals for instructions for operating other system
components.
WARNING: Do not operate the spray gun if the resistance of
the multiplier or electrode assembly are not within the ranges
specified in the
Troubleshooting section. Failure to observe this
warning may result in personal injury, fire, and property
damage.
Use the following procedure to start operating the spray gun.
NOTE: Refer to the
Operation section of the appropriate controller
manual for detailed operation instructions.
1. Make sure that the following conditions are met before starting up the
controller:
The booth exhaust fans are on.
The powder recovery system is operating.
The powder in the feed hopper is thoroughly fluidized.
The gun cable, feed hose, and air tubing are correctly connected
to the gun, pump, and controller.
