No precautions required.
Maintenance

Users
Because the myoMOTION data logger battery is Li-Ion, the only battery maintenance required is
recharging.
Charging
the
myoMOTION
Data
Logger
The myoMOTION Data Logger may be charged using the USB cable to connect the Data Logger
to a computer or the USB wall power supply. The Charge light on the front of the Data Logger will
illuminate when the Data Logger is charging. When the light goes out, the data logger is finished
charging.

The following activities should only be undertaken by PC support (IT) personnel, equipment
technicians or those with suitable training.

Perform a backup of the data folders to a separate drive as a precaution.
Click on the Patch/Update link provided in the email or as given on the Noraxon website

Download the Patch/Update file.
To install the Patch/Update, click “Run” on the dialog box. No password is required.

Updates
The internal program (firmware) inside the myoMOTION system can be updated through the use
of a special utility program available through a supplied link through the Noraxon website:
http://noraxon.com/support-resources
The installed program will permit updates to the myoMOTION Data Logger.
Attention
The
myoMOTION
Data
Logger
should
be
fully
charged
before
a
firmware
update
is
performed.
After updating the firmware to the data logger; unplug the mini B USB end from the myoMOTION
Data Logger update Windows and run a virus scan.
