Description
Press the + and
–
keys and the bar at the bottom will indicate the change.
Select Save Changes to save the settings.
You can press the
–
or + keys at any time to change the LCD contrast
without having to use the HELP menu.
LCD Timeout
Use this option to set the LCD to stay on longer than the default of 2
minutes. The 2-minute default is meant to conserve power, but you can
select a time up to 60 minutes to keep the LCD on.
Use the ↑ or ↓ keys to
change the value.
Be aware that if you select longer periods of time, the battery life will be
reduced.
Modem Set
Up
Use this option to configure the instrument for remote communication with a
modem. There are 6 questions to answer for this set up. There is a modem
unlock code which by default is 0000. This unlock code prevents
unauthorized entry by vandals.
